Editorial policy

BettingSeeker exists to help bettors find better value and avoid bad operators. This page explains how our content is made and the standards it has to meet before it is published.

Independence

We earn commission from some operators when readers sign up through our links. That pays for the site. It never buys a place on a toplist, a higher score or a softer review. Ratings come from our scoring method and the same criteria apply to every operator, whether or not we have a commercial relationship with it.

Who writes our content

Every page names the person responsible for it. Author pages list each writer’s experience and the pages they’ve written. We do not publish under invented names.

How a page is made

  1. Research. We start from what readers search for and what they need to decide.
  2. Data first. Operator facts (licences, payment methods, withdrawal times, offers) come from our operator database, which records a source and a last-verified date for every fact. Sources come from regulators and the operators themselves, never from other comparison sites.
  3. Writing. We use AI tools to help research and draft. A named human editor reviews every page and is responsible for it.
  4. Fact-check. Facts, figures and offer terms are checked against the linked sources before publication. As the team grows, a second person will check every page about money.
  5. Publication. The page shows who is responsible for it, its sources and the date it was last updated.

Keeping content current

Offers and odds change often. Toplists and promo code pages are reviewed at least monthly and show a short changelog. Reviews are re-tested at least every 90 days. Odds shown on predictions pages carry the time they were recorded.

Predictions and tips

When we publish predictions, every tip will be logged and settled in public, losses included. Tips are opinions, not guarantees.

Responsible gambling

Every commercial page carries an age warning and links to support services. We do not use language that suggests betting is a way to make money, and we do not target anyone under the legal gambling age.

If we get something wrong, we fix it and log the change on our corrections page. You can report an error through our contact page.
