Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use bettingseeker.com, what we do with it, and the choices and rights you have. We’ve kept it short because we collect very little.
Last updated: 2 November 2026.
Who we are
BettingSeeker (bettingseeker.com) is run by Kevin Poorter, who is responsible for your personal data under this policy (the “controller”). You can contact us about privacy at [email protected].
What we collect
When you visit the site. Our website is delivered through Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical information about each visit so it can deliver pages and protect the site from attacks: your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page and the time. We don’t use this to identify you.
When you email us. We receive your email address, your name if you include it, and whatever you choose to tell us.
What we don’t collect. We don’t have user accounts, we don’t run analytics or advertising cookies, and we don’t sell or rent personal data. We never ask for payment details, and we don’t take bets.
Cookies
We don’t currently set analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies to keep the site secure and working, for example to tell real visitors apart from bots. These don’t track you across other websites.
If we add analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we’ll update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.
Links to operators
Our pages link to betting sites and casinos. Links to operators pass through a short redirect on our site (addresses starting with /go/) so we can count how often each link is used, without identifying you. When you arrive on an operator’s site, its own privacy and cookie policies apply. Where we have an affiliate agreement, the operator may use a tracking reference to recognise that you came from BettingSeeker; it doesn’t tell us who you are.
Why we use your information
- To run and secure the website (our legitimate interest in providing a working, safe site).
- To reply to your messages and keep a record of the conversation (our legitimate interest, or steps you ask us to take).
- To meet legal obligations, for example if we’re required to keep or disclose information by law.
Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers who process data on our behalf: Cloudflare (website hosting, delivery and security) and our email provider. They may process data outside your country, including in the United States, with appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses. We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
Cloudflare’s technical logs are kept for a short period under its own retention policies. We keep emails for up to two years after the conversation ends, unless we need them longer for a legal reason.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you;
- ask us to correct or delete it;
- object to or restrict how we use it;
- ask us to transfer it to you or someone else.
UK and EU residents have these rights under the UK GDPR and EU GDPR, and can complain to their data protection authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office, ico.org.uk).
US residents, including in California, have similar rights under state privacy laws. We don’t sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising, and we don’t use sensitive personal information.
Canadian residents have rights of access and correction under PIPEDA and provincial laws, including Quebec’s Law 25.
To use any of these rights, email [email protected]. We’ll reply within one month, and there’s no charge. We may need to confirm your identity first.
Children
BettingSeeker is for adults who are old enough to gamble where they live. We don’t knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you think a child has sent us personal information, email us and we’ll delete it.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we limit who can access the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your data.
Changes to this policy
We’ll update this page when our practices change, for example before adding analytics. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
