We haven't finished our hands-on test of Mecca Bingo yet, so there's no score. Everything below comes from regulator records, Mecca Bingo's own published information and the sources linked on this page.

Who runs Mecca Bingo

Mecca Bingo is owned by The Rank Group Plc, a company listed on the London Stock Exchange. Rank says it operates Grosvenor Casinos, Mecca and Enracha venues alongside a digital division, and describes MeccaBingo.com as a well-known multichannel digital bingo brand.

The Mecca name has a long high-street history. The bingo business was established in 1961, formerly called Top Rank, and Rank made an offer for Mecca Leisure Group in 1990. Rank's 2025/26 figures put Mecca net gaming revenue at £103.0m, though that covers its venues as well as online.

Licensing and safety

The online site is operated by Rank Interactive (Gibraltar) Limited. Mecca's terms, effective 16 December 2025, give UK Gambling Commission account 57924 for Great Britain online customers, and Gibraltar licences RGL 133 and RGL 134 for customers elsewhere.

Players must be 18 or over, and the permitted jurisdictions are the UK, Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, Isle of Man and Gibraltar. You can hold one account per brand.

Bingo rooms and games

Mecca offers 50-ball, 75-ball, 80-ball and 90-ball bingo. Its homepage names four rooms. Gold Bingo is a 90-ball room with tickets from 1p to 25p. Penny Lane is a 90-ball room with 1p tickets that is open around the clock. Main Event is a 90-ball room aimed at bigger prizes, with tickets usually 5p to 10p. Emoji Bingo is a 50-ball room with emoji balls, with games from 25p.

Beyond bingo there are slots, Slingo, jackpot games including Jackpot King and Rapid Fire Jackpots, and other casino games. The site also lists Best Odds Bingo, where each game has up to 25 players and each player holds 10 tickets.

Welcome offer and promotions

The homepage says new players can deposit and spend £5 (PayPal and Paysafecard excluded) and choose between a £20 bingo bonus on bingo or 50 free spins on King Kong Cash Even Bigger Bananas on slots. A £10 club voucher becomes available once you reach Mecca Legend status.

Ongoing promotions include a free bingo hour in Penny Lane from 8pm to 9pm and a free daily pick for eligible players. Bonus wagering is set in each promotion's rules, and the general terms say bonus balances are lost if wagering is not finished in time, which is 30 days unless stated otherwise.

Payments and withdrawals

Mecca lists Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Paysafecard, Apple Pay and Instant Bank Transfer. Most methods have a £5 minimum deposit, with PayPal at £10. Credit cards are not accepted. Paysafecard is deposit only.

The payments page says most withdrawals are processed instantly and reach your bank within 15 minutes. Visa and Mastercard withdrawals that are not enabled for Fast Withdrawals take 1-3 working days. Withdrawals normally go back to the method you deposited with, the name on it must match your account, and initial verification must be complete first. Mecca does not charge withdrawal fees, though your bank might. There is also a Mecca Cash Out option, where you request it through support and collect between £10 and £100 at a Mecca club with your membership card and photo ID.

App, support and safer gambling

There are Mecca Bingo apps on iOS and Android. The homepage says the app offers real-money bingo, slots, promotions and in-game chat. Support is available through the Mecca Bingo support site.

Safer gambling tools listed include net and gross deposit limits, a break from one day to six weeks, self-exclusion for at least six months across Rank's sites and apps, and Reality Check. Mecca also honours GAMSTOP. GamCare is on 0808 8020 133.

Who it suits

Mecca suits people who mainly want bingo, particularly at low ticket prices, and like the idea of a brand with club roots. If you want a large live dealer casino, the product is centred on bingo and slots, so compare lobbies first.
