We haven't finished our hands-on test of Mr Green yet, so there's no score. Everything below comes from regulator records, Mr Green's own published information and the sources linked on this page.

Who runs Mr Green

Mr Green was founded in 2007 by three Swedish entrepreneurs, Fredrik Sidfalk, Henrik Bergquist and Mikael Pawlo, and launched in 2008. Sidfalk and Bergquist had earlier helped found Betsson in 2001.

The company moved to the Mid Cap segment of Nasdaq Stockholm on 2 January 2018. William Hill bought it in January 2019 for £242m, and evoke plc acquired William Hill in July 2022 for £2.2bn. Evoke is headquartered in Malta and is Mr Green's parent company.

The UK Gambling Commission fined Mr Green £3m in the 2019 financial year and fined it again in August 2021.

Licensing and safety

Mr Green's UK site, mrgreen.co.uk, now runs as a white label under Blue Rock Managed Services Limited, which holds UK Gambling Commission account 67740. The iOS app lists Blue Rock Managed Services Limited as the developer and Mr Green IP Limited as the copyright holder.

The app is rated 18+, and only residents of the UK or the Republic of Ireland aged 18 or over are eligible, with one account per person. The listing points to GamCare on 0808 8020 133.

Games and software

The casino offers classic, video and jackpot slots, plus updated fruit machines. Table games include several blackjack variations (multi-hand and high-stakes tables), digital roulette and Slingo.

There is also a live dealer section with streamed tables for blackjack, roulette, poker and baccarat. Check the lobby for the full game count and provider list.

Welcome offer and promotions

Mr Green has advertised 200 free spins for depositing and spending £10, with a 10x wagering requirement on winnings, debit cards only, on selected games. That promotion had an end date of 31 July 2026, so it may no longer be available.

Always check the live terms, including the time limit to accept the offer and how soon you must meet wagering.

Payments and withdrawals

Mr Green's UK help pages list payment methods, minimums and withdrawal times, so check them before you deposit. The welcome offer was for debit card deposits only, which shows payment type can affect bonus eligibility.

App and support

The Mr Green app is free, about 110 MB, and supports iOS and iPadOS 16 or later, with 25 languages. The listing shows a 1.7 rating from 21 ratings. Negative reviews mention high wagering requirements, a small slots library and slow withdrawals, while one positive review praises the design and fast payouts. These are individual opinions.

Who it suits

Mr Green suits people who like a recognisable brand with a mix of slots, table games and live dealers. Compare the live terms before you register.
