Who runs Bally Bet
Bally Bet is the online betting brand of Bally's Corporation, which also operates casinos and resorts and says so on the Bally Bet site. The Canadian licensee is Bally's Canada Inc. In the US the licensee is Bally's Management Group, LLC, which trades as Bally Bet in Iowa, and Bally's Interactive, LLC in Ohio.
Bally's has been building its digital business for several years. In 2021 its interactive arm bought the betting platform provider Bet.Works for $125 million and the daily fantasy operator Monkey Knife Fight. Later that year it bought the British operator Gamesys for $2.7 billion. The group's structure has since changed again, with Bally's Intralot named in December 2025 after a deal involving Intralot, so the owner line here follows what the Bally Bet site itself says.
Licensing and where you can play
In the US there is no single licence. Bally Bet appears on the lists of state regulators in each state where it operates. Bally Bet offers online sports betting in Colorado, Iowa, Indiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Tennessee and Virginia. You must be 21 or over and physically in a permitted state when you bet. The national helpline is 1-800-GAMBLER.
In Canada, Bally Bet is registered in Ontario with the AGCO and works under an iGaming Ontario agreement, and is listed in Alberta through the AGLC and Alberta iGaming Corporation. The minimum age is 19 in Ontario and 18 in Alberta.
Markets and betting features
Bally Bet's US site lists pregame and live betting on the NFL, MLB, NHL, NBA, MMA, tennis, golf and NASCAR. Bet types include moneyline, spread, totals, round robins, teasers and same game parlays. The site also lists cash out, alternate lines, parlay analysis and live streams of selected sports.
A feature it calls Picks puts daily videos from content creators on the site, with selections you can add to your bet slip. Treat those as opinion, not advice. Betting outcomes are never certain.
The site says it is an approved gaming operator for MLB, the NBA, the WNBA and the NHL.
Welcome offer
In the US, the Bally Bet page says new players who place a first wager of $10 or more receive $50 in Bonus Bet Tokens. The qualifying bet needs minimum odds of -250 and has to settle within 28 days of registering. The tokens expire seven days after they are issued and cannot be withdrawn as cash. Cashing out the qualifying bet voids the offer, and a push means the bonus is not applied.
The page shows the promotion running from 1 January to 31 December 2026. Offers can differ by state, so read the terms in your own state before you sign up. For Ontario or Alberta, check the terms on the Canadian site for the offer that applies there.
Payments, app and support
The US page talks about trusted, quick payment methods but does not list them. It names PaySafe and GeoComply as partners. GeoComply is the location-checking service that confirms you are in a state where betting is allowed. The Ontario site lists Interac, Visa debit or credit, and Mastercard.
Bally Bet has an app on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and the site says support is available around the clock by email or through its online Help Centre. Ontario customers are also told they can reach support by phone and live chat.
Safer gambling and who it suits
The Ontario site lists account cool-offs and deposit limits, and points to ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600. US responsible gaming resources are listed state by state.
Bally Bet may suit people who want sports and casino in one account, particularly in states such as New Jersey where both are live. We have not tested the product, so we are not comparing odds, payout speed or app quality.
