Who is behind BET99

BET99 launched in 2020. At the time of the Ontario launch the brand was owned by Sports Venture Holdings Inc., which owned the subsidiaries that run BET99. The company was then in the process of merging with another business and planned to list shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange. That picture may have changed since.

The regulated Ontario site, an Ontario-focused .ca address, went live around 31 October to 1 November 2022.

Licensing and safety

BET99 is listed by iGaming Ontario as a regulated operator. The Ontario registrant is 1000007698 Ontario Ltd, trading as Bet 99. In Alberta the registrant is 2786638 Alberta Inc. operating as BET99, listed through the AGLC and the Alberta iGaming Corporation.

The minimum age is 19 in Ontario and 18 in Alberta. BET99 is only presented here for those two provinces, the two provinces where it is listed as a regulated operator.
