We haven't finished our hands-on test of betPARX yet, so there's no score. Everything below comes from regulator records, betPARX's own published information and the sources linked on this page.

Who runs betPARX

betPARX is the online brand of Parx Casino, owned by Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment, Inc. The betPARX site names Greenwood Gaming as its copyright holder. Parx is in Bensalem Township, Bucks County, northeast of Philadelphia, and began life as Keystone Racetrack in 1974. It took the Parx Racing and Casino name in August 2010. Its predecessor, Greenwood Racing, was founded in 1989 by British bookmakers Bob Green and Bill Hogwood.

Pennsylvania regulators approved Parx's sports betting licence on 3 October 2018, and its online sports betting app launched on 24 June 2019. Online casino followed with a soft launch on 15 July 2019. The betPARX app launched on 15 March 2022.

Licensing and where it is available

betPARX is licensed state by state. It offers sports betting in Maryland, Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and casino in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania. You must be 21 or over and inside one of those states to bet.

betPARX was also listed in Ohio, but Ohio's Casino Control Commission list of 8 September 2026 shows the betPARX licence as surrendered, so Ohio is not included. The national helpline is 1-800-GAMBLER, and the Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board publishes responsible play resources.

Sports and betting features

The betPARX site lists betting on the NFL, NBA, MLB and NHL, including prop bets and same game parlays. It does not say whether it offers cash out or live streaming, so check before you rely on either.

The site describes live customer service and fast payouts. Those are the operator's own claims, and we haven't tested them.

Welcome offer

The betPARX home page does not state an offer and says only to refer to the promotions page for the latest ones. Check that page for the current offer.

If you do claim a new-customer offer, check whether it pays out in cash or bonus bets, what minimum odds apply and when it expires.

Payments and app

The site promises secure banking and fast payouts, but it does not list payment methods, minimums or withdrawal times. Check the cashier in your state before you deposit.

Safer gambling and who it suits

The site lists the 1-800-GAMBLER helpline and links to the National Council on Problem Gambling and the Pennsylvania Responsible Play site. Check the account area for limit tools.

betPARX may suit people in its four states who like a regional casino brand with its roots in Pennsylvania.
