We haven't finished our hands-on test of Casumo yet, so there's no score. Everything below comes from regulator records, Casumo's own published information and the sources linked on this page.
Who runs Casumo
Casumo is a Malta-based online casino and sports betting brand. The sportsbook came through a deal with Kambi, the sports betting provider, which supplies the technology. The UK launch was on 6 January 2020, and the product had been taking new customers since 20 December. It arrived about seven months after Casumo became an official partner of EFL Championship club Reading.
Casumo's own site calls the brand a fast-growing European casino. The company that holds its UK licence is named below.
Licensing and safety
The UK licensee is now Recro Limited, Gambling Commission account 61549, with its head office in Swieqi, Malta. The register shows remote licences for general betting on real events, active from 14 April 2023, and for casino and virtual event betting, both active from 21 December 2023. The register is where to confirm who is responsible for your account today.
That is worth a quick check on any old review you read, because licence changes can make older company details out of date. You can look up account 61549 on the Gambling Commission's public register.
Sportsbook features
Casumo's sportsbook launched as sports betting made simple, built on Kambi and available across devices. The standout idea at launch was personalisation: users could choose their favourite sports and leagues and hide the rest.
Features can change over time, so treat that 2020 description as background and check the current sportsbook for cash out, a bet builder and live streaming. We haven't finished our own hands-on test yet.
Welcome offer
Casumo's welcome offers change, so check the live terms before you sign up. The January 2020 launch came with a £10 free bet for a qualifying £10 bet, but that should not be treated as current.
When you check the live offer, read the minimum deposit and odds, the expiry, and any limits on payment methods. A free bet is promotional credit and not a way to make money.
Payments and apps
Check the cashier for the payment methods, minimums and withdrawal times that apply to you. Expect identity checks before your first withdrawal.
Casumo's UK app is on the App Store as Casumo Casino and Sports Betting, and there is an Android app on Google Play.
Safer gambling and who it suits
In Great Britain, GAMSTOP is a free service that lets you block yourself from online gambling sites and apps. Use deposit limits and time-outs in your account as well.
Casumo suits UK players who started with casino games and want a sportsbook in the same account, with a simpler layout than a traditional bookmaker. If you need a deep list of markets, compare it before signing up. Set a budget first.
