TonyBet Canada review: registered in Ontario and Alberta, with NFL, NBA, NHL and soccer betting plus a casino with live dealer blackjack and roulette.
We haven't finished our hands-on test of TonyBet yet, so there's no score. Everything below comes from regulator records, TonyBet's own published information and the sources linked on this page.
Who runs TonyBet in Canada
TonyBet has two licensees: Ligtip Limited for Ontario and Tonybet Northpoint Limited for Alberta. The Ontario iOS app lists Ligtip LTD as the copyright holder and Mobileminds OU as the developer. A separate listing for the brand comes from TONYBET OU.
Regulation and safety
TonyBet appears in iGaming Ontario's directory of regulated sites for casino and sports betting, and in Alberta's register of iGaming sites with its own Alberta domain, tonybetalberta.ca. In Ontario, a regulated operator must be registered with the AGCO and hold an operating agreement with iGaming Ontario.
Players in Ontario must be 19 or older and physically in the province. The App Store listing points to ConnexOntario on 1-866-531-2600 for help.
Sports and markets
The iOS listing covers pre-match and live in-play markets for leagues including the NFL, NBA, NHL and MLB, plus soccer and tennis. It says you can set favourite sports and leagues for quick access and follow live scores, stats and odds.
Cash out, streaming and a bet builder are not listed in the app description.
Offers
The listing refers to promotions, profit boosts and bonuses but gives no amounts or terms. Check the current welcome offer on TonyBet, including any wagering and expiry, before opting in.
Payments and withdrawals
The listing says you can choose from a variety of payment methods, including debit cards and e-wallets, and describes deposits and withdrawals as fast and secure. Check the cashier for specific methods, minimums and times.
App reviews are not strong: the iOS app was rated 2.5 from about 100 ratings, and several recent reviews allege crashes and declined withdrawals. The developer replied to some asking for details. These are single accounts, but they are a reason to verify early and check the terms.
App and support
The Ontario iOS app, Tonybet Ontario: Casino & Bets, lists 24/7 support and an email contact, [email protected], plus a contact page and privacy policy on tonybet.ca.
Who it suits
TonyBet may suit someone who wants North American leagues and live dealer tables in one app. Given the app ratings, it is worth testing with a small deposit and reading the withdrawal terms first. We haven't finished our own hands-on test yet.
