Jackpot City Ontario review: regulated by AGCO and iGaming Ontario, with 1,000+ games and a four-deposit match bonus up to $1,600. Terms and safety.
We haven't finished our hands-on test of Jackpot City yet, so there's no score. Everything below comes from regulator records, Jackpot City's own published information and the sources linked on this page.
Jackpot City in Ontario
Jackpot City's Ontario site is run by Cadtree Limited. The operator is listed on the iGaming Ontario register of regulated operators, which means it operates under AGCO regulation and an agreement with iGaming Ontario. The brand's owner is Super Group.
Jackpot City is also listed in Alberta, under the AGLC and Alberta iGaming Corporation, but its Ontario site mentions only Ontario, so this review covers the Ontario offer.
Games
The site says it has over 1,000 games, covering slots, video poker, blackjack, roulette, baccarat, variety games and live dealer. It names Apricot, OnAir Entertainment, Pragmatic Play and Games Global as providers, and examples include Live Exclusive Roulette, ONE Blackjack, Switch No Commission Baccarat, Mask of Amun and 9 Pots of Gold HyperSpins.
The welcome bonus
The Ontario page advertises a four-deposit match bonus of up to $1,600, valid for 7 days for new customers, with a $10 minimum deposit. The bonus terms describe four 100% matches up to $400 each.
The playthrough is 35x the bonus amount. Slots (excluding NetEnt and progressive jackpots), Keno and scratch cards count 100%, NetEnt slots 50%, table poker, roulette, most video poker and most blackjack 8%, and baccarat, craps and progressives 0%. Maximum bet while a bonus is active is stated as 8 euros a round, which looks like a leftover from another market.
The terms say withdrawals may be capped at 6x the first deposit at management's discretion, with progressive wins exempt. The terms page shows a last-updated date of 22 November 2023, and the site FAQ describes a different 300 free spins offer, so check the offer shown at sign-up.
Payments
Listed methods are Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Interac, eCheck and Apple Pay. Withdrawal times depend on the method and your bank, and you may be asked for verification documents. The site says the 48-hour withdrawal reversal period has been removed in Ontario. No minimum withdrawal or timeframe is stated.
App and site
There are apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play, and a mobile browser option.
Responsible gaming
The site lists responsible gaming tests, cooling-off periods and self-exclusion, daily, weekly or monthly deposit and loss limits and time limits, and access to 12 months of transaction history. It links to RG Check and ConnexOntario.
Who it suits
Jackpot City suits Ontario players who mainly play slots and are comfortable with a 35x playthrough. Table game and baccarat fans will find the bonus contributes little. Read the terms carefully, set limits first and treat play as entertainment. We haven't finished our own hands-on test yet.
