bet365's casino sits under the same family-owned group as its sportsbook. The company was founded in 2000 by Denise Coates and is privately held by the Coates family, with Hillside (New Media) Limited named as the legal entity behind the UK brand. Its products are sports betting, online casino, online poker and online bingo.
Licensing and where it is available
In the UK, the casino has its own Gambling Commission licence, account 55149, separate from the betting licence 55148. Players must be 18 or over, and GAMSTOP applies.
In Canada, bet365 is listed in Ontario and Alberta, and the minimum age is 19 and 18 respectively. In the US, bet365's online casino is available in Michigan, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, under state-issued licences held by Hillside entities. Casino is legal online in far fewer US states than sports betting, so many bet365 US customers will see sport only.
UK rules that shape the casino
UK online slot stakes are capped per spin at £5 for players aged 25 and over, and £2 for ages 18 to 24. The cap applies to slots only, not to roulette or blackjack. From 19 January 2026, wagering requirements on casino bonuses are capped at 10 times the bonus.
