What the Caesars casino is in Canada
In Ontario and Alberta, Caesars' online casino and sportsbook sit under the same brand. The Ontario site is at caesarspalaceonline.com/on/ and describes itself as an online casino and sportsbook. The licensee is American Wagering, Inc.
In the US, the casino is run as Caesars Palace Online Casino, with its own review. This one covers the Canadian side.
Regulation
iGaming Ontario lists Caesars at caesarspalaceonline.com/on/ for casino and sports betting. Ontario's regulator says players must be 19 or older and in the province. The Alberta iGaming Corporation lists Caesars Sportsbook, Caesars Palace Online Casino and Horseshoe Casino as registered sites, with an 18+ notice.
The regulator says licensed sites must meet standards on fairness, player protection and social responsibility. Ontario operators also need controls that stop underage access.
Games
The Ontario page lists slots, table games such as blackjack, roulette and baccarat, and live dealer games. It does not give a game count or studio list.
The site runs a feature called Caesars Pick & Win, which it describes as a daily chance at $5,000 in bonuses, plus leaderboards with prizes. Loyalty follows the Caesars Rewards model, and the site says credits are earned for table and slot play.
Welcome offer
Caesars' Ontario site says the offer needs a minimum deposit of $10 and that you must wager 15 times the deposit amount on slots within seven days to unlock the deposit and bonus. Sign-up is described as registering with a promo code, then making a first deposit for a 100% match up to $1,000 and receiving a $20 sign-up bonus. The page also says the promotion is added automatically, so check at sign-up whether a code must be entered.
This offer is described for Ontario, so check the terms for Alberta. Read the full terms before opting in.
Payments and tools
Caesars' Ontario site names Apple Pay, Visa, Venmo, PayPal, Chase and wire transfer. That list looks carried over from the US site, so check the cashier for what Ontario or Alberta players can actually use before you deposit.
Safe play tools named on the page are deposit limits, cool-off periods, gaming limits and self-exclusion. A mobile app is available for iOS and Android.
Support and who it suits
In Ontario, problem gambling support is available from ConnexOntario, 1-866-531-2600, or by texting CONNEX to 247247. In Alberta, call or text INFO to 211.
The Canadian casino suits players in Ontario and Alberta who like the Caesars name and want slots and live dealer games alongside a rewards scheme. Decide your budget first, and stop if you start chasing losses.
